The official schedule has been announced for the 2023 World Series of Poker Europe. This year’s WSOPE festival will once again be held at King’s Resort Rozvadov in the Czech Republic. It is set to run from Oct. 25 – Nov. 15, and will feature 15 bracelet events.
Each and every bracelet event sports a guarantee, with more than €15 million in collective guaranteed prize money between them. That total is up from €12 million in 2022.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to continue hosting the most prestigious tournament series in Europe, this year offering even higher guaranteed prize pools and new exciting events like the GGMillions, Mystery Bounty, and Closer,” says King’s owner Leon Tsoukernik. “Our commitment remains to deliver unmatched service and hospitality to all poker players at King’s.”
This year’s schedule features something for every player, with buy-ins ranging from as low as €350 in the €1,000,000 guaranteed ‘Opener’ event, all the way up to €50,000 for the €1 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em high roller. Six of the events on the schedule feature seven-figure guarantees.
There are also two pot-limit Omaha events, a mystery bounty tournament, and an eight-game mix event.
The centerpiece of the whole affair will once again be the WSOP Europe €10,350 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, which sports a series-high €5 million guaranteed prize pool. Players will start with 100,000 in chips for the main event.
In 2022, the WSOPE main event drew a record-setting field of 763 entries, smashing the €5 million guarantee to create a prize pool of $7,248,500 USD. In the end, the biggest payday of all was the $1,380,129 secured by eventual champion Omar Eljach of Stockholm, Sweden.
